FOUR DAY RAY BEER + HALLOWEEN CANDY PAIRING GUIDE

It’s that wonderful time of the year where the air is getting crisp and your beer evaluations are founded on comfort and satisfying that autumnal sweet tooth! We had the pleasure of testing out the best possible candied accompaniments with your favorite Four Day Ray beer styles. Bring out your inner child this Halloween by grabbing a few beers and pairing them with these candy combinations.

Never Have I Ever ... Porter (ABV 5.0% | IBU 27)

The creamy, smooth, chocolate texture of our porter is the perfect partner to the gooey nougat center and nutty crunch of Snickers. Bakers chocolate, toffee, and slight nutty character with a long chocolate finish make this beer and candy combo a decadent dessert.

Blood Orange Blonde (ABV 4.8% | 20 IBU)

The zingy citrus character is balanced out by a slight bitterness in this fruit-forward blonde. Pair this beer with orange jellybeans for a bright, malty, citrus explosion!

Doonright Scottish Ale (ABV 4.0% | IBU 17)

This Scottish Ale drinks lighter than it looks and finishes dry with a note of smoke. Chocolate and toasted caramel accompany a rich malt flavor, and the full flavor is lovely with a classic, creamy, Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.

Hoosier Harvest Wet-Hopped Blonde (ABV 4.8% | 20 IBU)

This pairing is for the in-your-face flavor seeker! This beer has notes of cedar, citrus, finishes crisp and dry. Sour Patch Kids start sour complimenting the malt found in our Hoosier Harvest Blonde and end sweet, subtly lifting the bright citrus hop in each sip.

Afterburner Smoked Lager (ABV 4.5% | IBU 22)

Candy corns creamy fondant, rich marshmallow, and warm vanilla notes really elevate the smokey oakiness and bready notes in our Afterburner smoked lager, making this combination a perfectly well-rounded bite of fall time delight.

North Street Stout (ABV 4.2% | IBU 27)

Coconut and almond are delicious additions to the flavors in our North Street Stout. Our Stout features undeniable roast, dark chocolate, and coffee flavors evolving into notes of caramel, toast, and pleasant malt sweetness while finishing dry. This duo is ideal for those who enjoy harmonious sweetness with a complex, bitter edge.
